It is in the interests of both the mall and the visitors that shopping centres become an experience-based shopping venue, that offers more and more enjoyable time to customers; and the mall should be a meeting point where time can be spent effectively. For the time being, the growth of online commerce is only seen by stores offering electronics products, while in the other segments the presence of a physical store is still important. Éva Nagy: We also feel that the experience is that what our visitors need to be provided - in the future the boundaries of the retail and shopping centre services will be blurred, this hybrid world must be created by us. The other big trend, the experience- based shopping will definitely reach us - the Csillag Center will also develop in this direction. Tamás Müller: I think what's going on in the world of retail will appear in Arena Mall and we should keep up with it. Tenants respond to the gain of online shopping, and I hope we can introduce automated payments in more and more places (e.g. food court) in the near future. In addition to digital solutions, more and more web shops are opening up physical stores, and we feel the expansion of the discount stores against traditional hyper markets.
